Item 7.01    Regulation FD Disclosure.

On June 24, 2024, G1 Therapeutics, Inc. issued a press release announcing that the pivotal Phase 3 trial (PRESERVE 2), evaluating trilaciclib in combination with gemcitabine and carboplatin for the first line treatment of metastatic triple negative breast cancer (mTNBC), did not achieve statistical significance in the primary endpoint of overall survival in the intent-to-treat population. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
